Permitted vehicles
We have introduced a booking system at the recycling centres to help reduce queues, ease traffic on nearby roads, and make visits smoother for residents. We accept trade waste at the recycling centre and you do not need to book a slot. The site must close at the times listed and you may not be allowed in if you are late for your allocated booking slot. The quickest and easiest way to book a visit to a recycling centre is online. You must book a slot before visiting any of our recycling centres.
Things to note before booking
Once you’ve banked at least one hour, check your online dashboard on Thursday to see time slots for the upcoming free window at the weekend. We ask that you cancel your booking as soon as possible – and at least 24 hours before your scheduled visit – to allow others to use the time slot.

- If you’re a Charge Pack customer, set your Happy Hour to the exact time listed in your Charge Pack Session notification email.
- So if you have two available and you’d like to use them the same weekend, just select two free slots on your online dashboard instead of one.
